The Edmonton Chapter is honoured to announce that Brother Thomas Lavin has kindly accepted our
invitation to be the guest of honour of La Salle College Old Boys' Global Reunion, Edmonton 2006.

Live with a meaningful La Salle spirit in terms of faith and service to others.

Rev. Brother Thomas Lavin
Principal of La Salle College, 2000 - 2004

Reverend Brother Thomas Lavin was born on June 16, 1943 in County Roscommon, Ireland.

He joined the Order at the age of 14.
Brother Thomas arrived in La Salle College in August 1965 serving as the Sports Master between 1965 and 1969, and between 1974 and 1982 besides teaching English, religious studies and mathematics.
After obtaining his Masters Degree in Education from the University of Manchester in 1983, Brother Thomas was transferred to Nigeria in 1984. During his 14 years there, thousands of students benefited from his teaching and guidance. He became the 10th Principal of La Salle College in 2000 until he retired in 2004.
Life in Israel
Brother Thomas is now teaching in Bethlemhem University after his retirement from La Salle College. He has promised to write about his life in Israel. All his writing will be included here. Please visit often as this page will be updated frequently.
